Who We Are
Since 2007, SCF’s active partners have been committed to the foundry business with significant investments over the past decade in equipment upgrades, with a focus on a safe and sustainable working environment.
SCF’s first plant specializes in casting manhole covers & gratings in iron grades
under BSI Kitemark and SASO certification, while the second, more recent facility specializes in
steel grades for valve and pump castings for a wide cross-section of the industry with a focus on
oil & gas and desalination. Moreover, SCF caters to cement, mining, renewables, heavy equipment,
firefighting, safety, and many more, with expertise in load, pressure, wear, heat resistance, and
                    other critical applications.
SCF foundries produce castings with an advanced sand casting process, in high alloyed cast iron,
steel, stainless steel, duplex, and nickel-based alloys.
With an installed capacity of 15,000 tons of castings per year we produce small and large parts
ranging from 15kg up to 1250kg single piece. We have in-house reverse engineering, pattern making,
quality control, machining, and radiography testing, all under one roof, to create an efficient
process with short communication lines, ensuring high-quality products and on-time deliveries to our
                    customers.
Our History
During the year of 1978, Mr. Ahmed Najeeb established the Arabian Steel Factory in Jeddah-KSA, providing high-quality steel products for over two decades, followed then by the establishment of the Al Manar group, which is still located in Jeddah up until today.
During the year 2006, Mr. Ahmed Najeeb, having been active in the steel market for
so long, saw the need for establishing a new manufacturing company for castings to serve the
construction needs of the Kingdom and decided to invite foreign companies with specialization in
                    foundries, to join him.
In 2007, he partnered with Mr. Efrem Koukkides, an experienced foundry professional having foundries
in Europe, since 1955. Mr. Koukkides shared the same vision as Mr. Najeeb for setting up a foundry
in Saudi Arabia. This partnership created a new Saudi entity… SAUDI CYPRUS FOUNDRIES LTD.
This partnership brought the required know-how to quickly capture the construction industry market
for manhole covers, gratings, and engineering parts, offering the market cast iron and ductile iron
grades of high-strength quality castings and quickly received the appreciation of the KSA
                    Construction Sector.
During the year 2016, a second facility started building, with the target of being the first steel
foundry to produce valves and pump castings and accessories in KSA, to serve the majority of sectors
in need of steel castings. In 2018 this steel foundry started its operations and till today is
serving not only the valve & pump industry but also invested and brought in additional expertise and
has become a trustworthy supplier to the mining, cement, and steel plants all over the Kingdom and
                    overseas.
